Coaching Classes

Since the Club’s formation, coaching has been provided to schools, school camps, scouts/guides, other outdoor groups, corporate entities and holiday program groups.

The club holds coaching classes on Sundays at 11.00 am or 1.00 pm at their archery range at the Orari Racecourse, Orari Station Road, Orari. Learners are coached by Paul Wulff who is registered with Archery NZ as a Development Coach. 

All equipment is supplied.

The $15 per session cost is to cover the maintenance and repair of club equipment and targets used. We would recommend a novice undertake at least 4 coaching sessions, but we recognise individuals do respond at different rates and how much each individual wants after the first session is up to them. The key issue for the club is to ensure that the novice can shoot in a manner that maintains their own safety and that of others.
